The long steel every job starts with. Angles, channels, beams, columns, flat bar, round and square bar, window sections and drilled rails, in mild steel and S355JR, cut to length while you wait.
Mild steel flat bar, made in-house, plus S355JR and 55C. Widths from 12 to 100 mm, thicknesses of 2, 2.5, 2.7 and 3 mm in 6 m lengths, with non-standard thicknesses up to 4.5 mm for trellis doors, burglar proofing and grating. Slitting up to 4.5 mm thick, 12–500 mm wide.
Equal and unequal angle iron in mild steel and S355JR. Used to brace a structure from the outside, or in twos and fours as the main members of a frame.
Steel window sections for domestic, commercial and industrial frames. Thinner than aluminium or timber for the same strength, so the glass gets bigger. Galvanised sections hold out rust for good.
Hot- and cold-rolled channels: S355 parallel flange, CQ hot-rolled lip channel, Z275 galvanised lip channel and S355JR light channel. Carport beams, roof trusses and truck bodies.
S355JR universal columns, near-square in section so they carry load down their length without twisting.
